We carry the newest issue of Medatrocity, a ‘zine unique to the avenue and edited by Cafe Med’s very own Samiya Bird. The zines are sold exclusively by only a few shops. Shakespeare & Co is one of those few. And it shows because we go through them quick! We have older issues as well.
Interviews from bands, cribbing from the locals, secret recipes from Med employees (like lemon iced coffee), how to order coffee in Arabic, and glorious collaged ramblings. It will last you several BART trips into the city, even if you read fast!
